tailoring?? YES!!!!
- men buy their clothes and regularly have them tailoed to fit their bodies... most women buy clothes and try to alter their bodies to fit their clothes... what's wrong with this picture? when "a miss is as good as a mile" in fashion, and things that almost, but don't quite, fit make the wearer look, well just sad... it makes sense to have things tailored. that said, it can be expensive, and it can take time. however, the difference it can make in fit, and how you look and how you feel while wearing that tailored item, can really be worth it.

Tailored looks the best
- Yes. Tailored clothes, both custom tailored & even well-made tailored styles off the rack (when you can find them) allow my fuller-figure to look its best. Unconstructed styles really have to be chosen too carefully. Plus, todays clothes in general are often cheaply made (even some designer labels). Basic tailored details such as linings in pants & skirts which skim curves in a flattering way, have become a thing of the past.

Tailoring
- Tailoring is all important. Fit is everything! This is true for everyone, not only the plus-sized.

Tailoring is all-important
- I will spend an hour sitting in traffic (my tailor isn't right around the block), after having made an appointment two weeks in advance, to see my tailor, to have things properly fitted. If it's slacks to be hemmed, I bring the shoes I plan to wear with them. If it's a top/dress, I bring/wear the bra I plan to wear with it. If, when I try it on in the store, it fits the biggest part of my body (my too-ample backside, yes) but doesn't perfectly fit everywhere else, I'll call the tailor from the fitting room to schedule an appointment. Yes, tailoring is a must.

tailored clothes are perfect!
- I love tailored clothes, I typically get one dress a year custom made for me...nothing looks as good! I'm also short and busty, so I do end up having to modify many of the clothes I buy

Love custom made!!
- I love to buy things that have been made for me... I am big busted plus I know the length I want things to be and am often unhappy with the length of things in the stores...

Couldn't live without a tailor
- Very few things fit me off the rack, so I buy the size that fits my hips and tailor down. This works especially with with me and dresses. I have a really nice all reason/season collection due to the handy work of my local tailor. Buy clothing at a reasonable discount then the cost of having them altered won't hurt so much.
