From the article: 6 Fit Tips for Plus-Size Jeans
Jeans can be extremely tricky for women of any size. There's simply more to go wrong, from the inseam to the rise.
Do you have a favorite brand of jeans or denim in general? I am very partial to denim from Target, but I've been known to dabble in styles from Anna Scholz as well. If you have a favorite label for your denim, share it here, and tell us why you love it.

Denim to Die For
- I did a vlog about denim for plus sizes in my Youtube series Fat & Fabulous. I advocate getting mid or high waist darker denims that contain at least 2-5% spandex or rayon. This helps jeans hug in great places, be loose in others, stay up, and remain comfy throughout the day. please visit my Plus size blog for more Denim and a million other plus size fashion tips, tricks, and secrets! fatandfabulousfashion.blogspot.com/

Woman Within
- Since I’m considered "super-size," I really enjoy the Venezia brand from Woman Within. They’re cut well, hold up beautifully, and do NOT look like "mom-jeans."

Favorite Jeans- Lane Bryant Color-Coded
- I really like the color coded jeans that are at Lane Bryant right now. I’m definitely a blue. The sizes are not traditional (i.e. I wear a size 2 or 3 in this type of pant). So, you’ll have to try them on initially, but it’s amazing that i don’t have to try on this brand/type of jean. Once you get the right size – they fit every time.

Levi’s, Wrangler, Svoboda
- I’ve gotten great fit from medium rise styles from Levi’s (Kmart) and Wrangler (Target) for my "working" jeans (gardening, painting, and other more "messy" jobs.) And I’m a big fan of Svoboda for my "nicer" jeans.
