The Fit
When I first tried on an SWAK Designs dress, the first thing I noticed was the generous fit. If you're sick of dresses that squeeze your middle and cut into your arms, then you'll be pleased with this version.
What I found most exciting about the SWAK dresses that I had an opportunity to check out (the Classic and Harmony styles) was the fact that the items were scaled comfortably all over. Instead of having shirts with tiny armholes and huge busts, everything seems proportional. That's great!
The ribcage area of both dresses are generous enough to accommodate apple shaped figures with larger torsos, but you don't need to worry if you're a natural hourglass. SWAK Designs' Harmony dress pulls in the bodice to show off your natural curves, and also provides a little added shape.
Quality
Both of these dresses were available in great quality for the price. You'll be surprised at how easily each items can be tailored if you require any alterations such as hemming if you are petite.
The dresses are available in wardrobe-friendly basic colors such as green, black, and brown. Take your pick! All are dyed in a rich, deep color, which you'll love. I'm a big fan of the sage green that SWAK Designs offers, but the black is quite deep and dark as well.
The Design
Everyone needs an LBD, but who says that we need just one? I'm always on the search for extra little black dresses, especially because I live in a climate with four very distinct seasons. The Classic dress from SWAK Designs is lightweight and stretchy, which makes it perfect for sticky summer days. I can also imagine this dress with a little blazer come spring or a pair of fun sweater tights and mary janes during the cooler months.
The Harmony Dress: This dress really impressed me in terms of design. It's simple, but that doesn't mean it's boring! The criss-cross effect on the bust is just enough to call attention to a busty woman's best asset, or add extra curves to a voluptuous bod.
The Classic Dress: The Classic Dress is a comfortable basic that's shaped as it should be. There aren't any surprise details, but why should there be? This is a simple basic that will look great with brooches or other jewelry.
