Style
Oversized buttons, cropped sleeves, and shaped waistlines add darling details to your Missphit pieces. Each item has at least one detail that makes it particularly memorable. Instead of shapes that we see regularly on plus sites, these Missphit items have a fresh look that's welcome in our 14+ wardrobes.
Weight
Missphit's items have an all-weather appeal. You don't need to live in the Northeastern U.S. to wear these coats, and they're offered in various weights to fit your local climate. If you live in the south, perhaps you might like a short-sleeve Urban Denim or a Twill Strap Jacket.
Quality
Overall, Missphit coats are good in quality. Since they are primarily lightweight, they don't need a heavier lining or trim.
- Red Plaid Coat: This red coat has an interesting design detail that I simply adore. When you flip up the collar, the underside is lined in a smooth, bright satin. The coat is also half-lined in the same satin. I longed for a full lining, but the coat rings in at around $50, so if you love layering, the full-lining longing dissolves.
- Urban Denim: This piece is fantastically dark, with comfortable, generously sized sleeves and stretchy ribbed bands. The closures are perfectly suited for regular wear, and if you fall in love with this piece as I've done with several Missphit tops (like this one), you'll be pleased to know that they wear very well.
- Black Overcoat: This classic coat has a pleasing shape and the length you need if you like to keep the backs of your legs warm in the winter. I recommend this jacket if you are a budding professional on a limited budget, and you need a basic coat to get you to and from work.
"Fun Factor"
Missphit coats and winter-weight items are fun to wear, especially because they meet a pretty significant budget price point. If you need a classic winter coat like the Missphit Pea or a fun little jacket, I recommend you go to Missphit and see what they're all about.
Note: The Red Missphit Coat is currently unavailable, but it should be back up soon.
