Q: What’s Fashion Overdose all about?
A: Fashion Overdose is an edgy, fun street couture line. We've always wanted to provide clothes for all sizes, but we’ve been focusing on mostly plus-size. We've only been online since the beginning of the year, and our focus is to supply junior women with reasonably priced apparel.
Q: What's important to remember about plus-size fashion?
A: Well, what makes people confident? What they're wearing. We wanted this to be a shop with trendy clothes of all sizes. A lot of times, you can go to places and you can’t find what you want. We want to bridge that gap.
Q: Who designs for Fashion Overdose?
A: I design for Fashion Overdose, as well as the Head Designer Bou. We work things up together, and I’m also the front person as well who works with marketing.
Q: What’s your inspiration for the upcoming fall line?
A: We really like the '80s—a lot. But for fall, we love one of our newest pieces, the argyle skirt. We have a clean look for fall with solid colors. We usually work with vibrant colors that are fun in general, but we’re going to concentrate on solid colors later this month.
Q: What colors can we expect for Fall 2007?
A: You can expect browns, oranges, dark deep red, and blue for fall. The collection will be released later on in September.
Q: What's on the horizon for Fashion Overdose?
A: In the future, we'd like to expand to a men’s line as well.
