Hint #1: Many women wear bras that are too wide around the middle and too small in the cup.
Tip: How do you know if your bra is too big? If the straps or the back falls down, the bra is too big. Slipping straps shouldn't be an issue.Hint #2: When measuring yourself for a bra, be sure to get the tape snug under your breasts. You can distort the measurement if you accidentally measure across the bottom of your breasts.
Hint #3: Check the bra band and be sure that it falls in the right place. A bra that fits correctly will fit around the smallest part of your back, not around your shoulder blades.
Hint #4: Check your underwire to ensure that it's working properly. If it leaves the center part of your chest, you'll need to increase the cup size.
Hint #5: Lift your arms to check the final fit of your bra by lifting up your arms. If you get over or underspill from the cups, you'll need to increase the cup size.
Hint #6: If you are having difficulty choosing a new bra, look for a nude bra with smooth cups and somewhat slimmer straps.
