After reading feedback on my JCPenney in-store shopping guide, I thought I would also tell you how to get the best deal online and troubleshoot any difficulties you may have choosing your plus pieces there. Take a look and get some tips to reduce your shopping time online.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 30 minutes
Here's How:
- Head to the JCPenney home page and look to your left. Click on "Women" to head straight to their special women's section.
- Save time by selecting quality JCPenney brands directly from the left-hand column. First click once on "All Brands" under "Shops" to get a list of all the JCPenney brands available.
- Click on brands like Worthington (up to 3X), a.n.a. (up to 3X), Nicole Miller (missy sizing to 16/XL), Bisou Bisou (missy sizing up to 18/XL). These four brands are my "plus cornerstone" at JCPenney, and provide the most trend-conscious looks available.
- Consider trying pieces on in person if you're concerned about paying shipping or if you're short on time. A lot of us have a JCPenney nearby, and you can bring ordering information into the store to look up a piece.
- Add a piece to your shopping cart. If you plan to try it on in the store, review the special number placed next to the piece you have added to your cart. Jot it down-- it's a series of 3 and then 4 numbers-- and then bring it to your local store if you'd like.
Tips:
- Be sure to visit coupon discount sites like Retail Me Not, which has been recommended to me by a JCPenney representative as a quality source for JCP discounts.
- If your local JCPenney doesn't carry the piece you're looking for, they can order it for you directly in the shop.
