Comfort
I tried out two pairs of Always for Me trousers: the Yoga/Bootleg Pants, and the Side Stripe Capris. I found that both run true-to-size, but because of the different styles, they fit quite differently.
Yoga Pants
The Yoga Pants have a relaxed feel with a generous sizing at the hips and waist, and I recommend them for activities that involve stretching and light weights, as well as walking.
Stripe Capris
The Stripe Capris have a slightly more "contained" feel. The stretch is great for comfort, and you'll find that these help to reduce "shake" for high-impact activities. They are definitely my top choice for running and aerobic activities.
Tip: I recommend sizing up if you are on the cusp of 1/2X.
Style
Fashion isn't just for you being in the workplace, and wearing the same old gym pieces can affect your ability to try new exercises and stick with your routine, especially in a more intimidating gym.
Yoga Pants: The Yoga Pants are simple and have a nice saturated black color instead of that washed-out black you might find from other brands. The wide-leg shape makes these trousers totally wearable with tunic tops and casual slip-ons, too.
Stripe Capris: These fun exercise pants have a fun stripe that continues with the baseball vibe you'll find with the matching top. After careful examination in the mirror, you'll see that these workout pants are super slimming.
Performance
As I mentioned above, I quickly found that these trouser types are best suited for different activities, and performance does play into that decision.
If you are going to be doing a hardcore workout routine, you'll find that the Stripe Capris help to wick sweat away from the body best, since they are closer to your skin and will draw beads of sweat away as soon as they appear.
