My favourite designers are Olivier Theyskens (Rochas more than Nina Ricci), Nicolas Guesquière, Alber Elbaz, Stefano Pilati, Ann Demeleumeester, Antonio Marras (especially at Kenzo), Karl Lagerfeld (for Chanel), Ermanno Scervino, Aquilano & Rimondi (I loved their Gianfranco Ferrè SS09 fashion show), Martin Margiela, Missoni.
I have a fetish for shoes and élite perfumes (Creed, Annick Goutal, Serge Lutens, Carthusia, Nasomatto, L’Artisan Parfumeur, etc.).

Hello, I am actually an up and coming designer in the md,dc, va area and I have begun to work closely with models varying in sizes from 2-18. I have to say that making clothing for curvier bodies is very challenging however there is such a demand for great fitting clothing in larger sizes that designers should be considering women of all shapes and sizes. Because I am becoming more familiar with cutting and making patterns for plus sized women I would love to share my skills as well as learn from others on The Fashion Spot about their design and construction techniques.
